Over 16 years of relevant experience in business strategy, quantitative marketing, and financial modeling.  Built analytical and financial models for organizations such as Capital One, USPS, SNET (AT&T), Chase Manhattan Bank, Kenan Systems, SPA (Oliver Wyman), and internet start-ups.  BA in Economics & Mathematics from Yale University; MBA with Academic Excellence from Darden Business School.

  • IndyPublish.com, Consultant – Print on demand publisher. Persuaded entrepreneur to redirect the business away from intensely competitive book retailing and toward print on demand publishing. Developed demand and revenue model. Pitched acquisition to CEOs of top publishers.
  • vFirm.com, Consultant – ASP for small businesses. Developed full financial projections that were instrumental in securing additional funding. Advised entrepreneur of strategy implications.
  • Established a CD-ROM based downloading service for users of public domain internet groups targeting those without broadband access. Launched an e-commerce site. Developed product database application, ASP web site, and customer tracking system. Customized and integrated shopping cart application and credit card processing.

Valuated acquiring a cable TV company and integrating it with SNET's telephony and cable operations. Projected economics of anticipated video-on-demand services.

Systems Consultant
Created decision support systems and performed systems-based consulting across a broad range of departments within the US Postal Service. Generated business and maintained client relationships.
  • Proposed, designed, and managed development of the “Financial Analysis Model for Executives” for use by USPS CFO to create strategic projection scenarios of the $ 50 billion/yr budget.
  • Created a price model for Marketing that solved for break-even postage rates.
  • Rewrote the official USPS Volume and Revenue Forecasting Model.
